Our tour will take you around to explore the most five impressive imperial cities of the kingdom. Visit the breathtaking cities of Marrakech, Casablanca, Rabat, Meknes and the ancient city of Fes. This tour will also drive through the middle and High Atlas visiting Ifran, Azrou, Oum Errb’ springs and Isli & Tislit lakes in Imilchil. Later on, the tour continues to Dades George, skoura, ouarzaazte, Ait benhaddou, Talouet until we finally reach your Marrakech accommodation. Our professional guides will make sure your tour will be memorable by taking you around the medinas with various eye-catching views, to magnificent historical monuments, famous lakes and springs and impressively giant mountains of the Atlas. You will also enjoy the road of thousands kasbahs on the way to Ait benhaddou.
Schedule of the tour :
Day1 : Marrakech – Casablanca – Rabat
The kick-off of the tour takes place in Marrakech at 08 A.M heading to Rabat via Casablanca, where you get to visit The United Nations building, The Anfa district and Hassan II mosque; One of the largest mosques in the world. It took 6,000 traditional Moroccan artisans six years to build this magnificent mosque. Once in Rabat, you will get to visit the mausoleum of Mohammed V, Hassan Tower and the famous Kasbah of Chellah near Oudaya gardens.
Day2 : Rabat – Meknes – Fes
After Breakfast, we depart from Rabat to the outstanding city of Meknes ; former capital of Morocco in the Era of Sultan Moulay smail, you will appreciate mostly its gigantic walls with 2M wide , 6M high and 44 km long. You will also admire Moulay Ismail’s mausoleum, the giant monumental gate “Bab Mansour”, the underground prison and finally El Hedem square. Drive back to Fes city.
Day3 : Fes – sightseeing
Mentioning Fes feels like this magnificent city does not even need to be introduced, with its many monuments that date back to the ancient times in the history of the kingdom, its artistic authenticity, its “Al Quarawyine” university, splendid palaces, luxurious fountains, and many more things that will leave you speechless. It is considered the most ancient and glorious city in Africa.
Day4 : Fes – Ifran – Azrou – Oum Errbi’ Sources – lake of Agoulmam azgueza- Khnifra- Imilchil- Isli & Tislite Lakes
During the fourth day of our tour, we leave Fes towards the middle Atlas starting at Ifran. The word Ifran stands for Caves in Berber language. The city is also known as small Switzerland. Ifran was elected the world second cleanest city according to a survey conducted by MBC Times. Afterward we continue to Azrou with its high meadows, blooming wild flowers and beautiful surrounding pine and cedar forest where little monkey come down the trees for some food. Later on, we visit Oum Errb’ sources, Lake of Agoulmam Azgueza, khnifra and finally call it a day after discovering the mesmerizing lakes of Isli & Tislit in Imilchil. Spend the night in this Berber village.
Day5 : Imilchil – Dades gorges – skoura
After a good night sleep in this Berber village well known in Morocco for its traditional Berber weddings, enjoy a breakfast then we will drive to Dades gorges through Ait Hdiddou valley. Along this valley, you will get to see authentic Berber villages and breathtaking sceneries until we reach Dades. Gorges form an extraordinary canyon descending the high atlas from Jbel seghrou, the highest point, at 2300 meters. Finally stop at Skoura,a fertile land of immense palm groves that provide charming views of the Atlas Mountains alongside desert landscapes.
Day6 : Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait benhddou – Talouet – Marrakech
The tour is almost at its end, right after breakfast we take the road to Ouarzazate, a very noted film-making location, the birthplace of many famous movies such as lawrence of Arabia (1962), The Man Who Would Be King (1975) The Mummy (1999), and Gladiator (2000). We continue our trip on the breathtaking road of thousands kasbahs to Ait benhaddou, UNESCO world Heritage, then Talouet and finally end an unforgettable journey by dropping you off at your Marrakech accommodation.
